Senior Ministry Strategist
Donna is a seasoned community leader and nonprofit professional who finds joy in partnering with nonprofits and churches to achieve their God-sized goals. Donna believes in the synergy resulting from engaging impassioned donors with causes that make a difference in the world. Most recently, Donna served as the Director of Development at the Seminary of the Southwest and has served as a nonprofit leader in a variety of settings.
Donna’s personal and professional commitment to nonprofit development resulted in her recognition as the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) 2018 Outstanding Fundraising Professional. Donna’s experience covers all areas of development including capital campaign strategy and leadership, major gift solicitation, annual giving, and donor engagement strategy and cultivation.
As the Development Director for Mobile Loaves & Fishes, Donna helped raise over $40 million in capital to build Community First! Village, a nationally recognized solution to chronic homelessness. During her seven-year tenure, the annual budget also escalated from $2 million to $9 million.
Donna is a graduate of Texas A&M but does all she can to “Keep Austin Weird.” She and her husband Mark love visits from her daughter, Elizabeth and son-in-law, Winn and their son, Matthew. She loves to snow ski, practice yoga and bike. She proudly serves on the Board of Trustees of Camp Allen (Diocese of Texas) and on the Vestry at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Austin, TX.
